Addie Kae Mingilton is a visual artist from Denver, Colorado. She received her BFA in Studio Art from Colorado Mesa University in 2019. She concentrated in drawing and painting, and additionally studied Animation, Film, and Photography. She pursued a Master of Fine Arts in Painting at the Rhode Island School of Design in 2021. Her work shifted from painting to an art practice based in textiles. Post graduation she moved to New York and taught in after school programs while working as an artist assistant. She now lives in Virginia and is an arts educator at the cultural arts center and bases her studio practice out of her home.
