Bio

Addie Kae Mingilton is a passionate artist hailing from the vibrant city of Denver, Colorado. Addie holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Studio Art from Colorado Mesa University, in Grand Junction Colorado where she not only excelled but did so and received an honors award. During her time at CMU, she honed her skills in drawing and painting, demonstrating an innate ability to capture the essence of her subjects on canvas. Additionally, Addie underwent comprehensive training in Animation, Film, Photography, and Motion Design, providing her with a multifaceted creative toolkit. After graduating She moved back to her hometown, settling in Five Points, where her father's childhood home serves as a wellspring of inspiration for many of her paintings, each capturing the essence of her beloved city.Her dedication to her craft led her to pursue a Master of Fine Arts in Painting at Rhode Island School of Design (RISD). Her work shifted from painting to an art practiced based in spiritual healing. Being deeply influenced by her rich cultural heritage, of her family's roots in New Orleans.
